Ransom Canyon Season 2 Arrives July 23 With Higher Stakes

Netflix confirmed Ransom Canyon Season 2 will premiere on July 23 and released the first trailer, teasing higher stakes for the Josh Duhamel- and Minka Kelly-led Western. The new season picks up six months after the first, with rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel) fighting to reclaim his legacy after being unseated as trustee of his family's Double K Ranch.

Musician Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly) must decide whether her heart belongs in the small town she once tried to outrun or in the fast-paced world of New York City. “In Ransom Canyon, true love stories are messy, complicated, and always worth the wait,” reads the official synopsis.

Joining the leads are Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Jack Schumacher, Marianly Tejada and Casey W. Johnson. The show was written and produced by April Blair, who also serves as showrunner, with Amanda Marsalis directing; April Blair and Jodi Thomas are credited as creators.
