PSG enter race to sign West Ham duo Fernandes and Summerville
Paris Saint-Germain have established contact with West Ham United over a potential double transfer for midfielder Mateus Fernandes and winger Crysencio Summerville, with sporting director Luis Campos leading the pursuit as PSG look to add depth to challenge on multiple fronts.
Preliminary discussions have been opened following West Ham’s relegation to the Championship, and the English club has outlined its financial expectations: €80m for Fernandes and roughly €50m for Summerville. Relegation has left West Ham needing to replenish their coffers and trim the wage bill, making the sale of key assets a likely outcome.
For Campos, signing Fernandes would fit the recent pattern of recruiting Portuguese players, after the arrivals of Vitinha and João Neves. PSG face competition for Fernandes from Manchester United and Real Madrid, while Summerville remains focused on international duty with the Netherlands at the World Cup.
