Prince Harry makes surprise solo appearance at Knicks vs. Spurs game
Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at Saturday evening's NBA Finals game in San Antonio between the Knicks and the Spurs. He entered the arena alone, wearing a navy polo, navy pants and a ball cap, and was not accompanied by his wife, Meghan Markle. He attended with JP Lane, a U.S.
Army veteran and Purple Heart Warrior Games athlete who will compete in his first Invictus Games next year in Birmingham. Harry was in San Antonio for the Warrior Games and had been invited to the matchup by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. The series has drawn a long list of celebrity fans, including Mariska Hargitay, Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner and Michael J.
Fox; Taylor Swift notably attended Game 4 in New York. Wednesday’s game featured a narrow Knicks comeback, a 107–106 victory. The couple did not attend Saturday’s Trooping the Colour in London with the rest of the royal family. He celebrated his eighth wedding anniversary in May with a sculpture of two penguins and is expected to travel to the U.K.
