Since its May 13 premiere, the eight-episode Off Campus has been a steady presence on Prime Video's charts, frequently sitting at or near the top. Created by Louisa Levy and adapted from Elle Kennedy's novels, the series mixes a raunchy opposites-attract romance with a more serious emotional drama.

Set at the fictional Briar University, Season 1 follows a music student and a charismatic hockey star who enter a fake-dating arrangement that becomes something deeper. Ella Bright stars as Hannah Wells and Belmont Cameli plays Garrett Graham, and the season adapts Kennedy's first book, The Deal, while exploring themes of grief, trauma and abuse.

The show drew 36 million viewers in its first 12 days, making it one of Prime Video's bigger debut seasons. For the week of June 15–21 it held the service's top spot, ahead of Clarkson's Farm, Every Year After, Spider-Noir, The Summer I Turned Pretty and The Legend of Vox Machina.
