The animated fantasy The Legend of Vox Machina returned for a fourth season while maintaining a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score. Based on Critical Role's first Dungeons & Dragons campaign, the series grew out of the group's tabletop streams and has become one of Prime Video's biggest fantasy hits.

Season 4 arrived on Jun. 3 and has climbed Prime Video's streaming charts, sitting at sixth most popular on the platform this week. The R-rated romance Off Campus remains at the top, but the animated Vox Machina is performing strongly for its format.

Critical Role has streamed Dungeons & Dragons games since 2015 and funded the show through a record-breaking Kickstarter before Prime Video picked up distribution. The series premiered on Jan 27, 2022, and the decision to place a fan-funded project behind a subscription paywall drew backlash in 2022. Brandon Auman is credited as showrunner, with Chris Prynoski listed among the creators.
