Prime members can buy a car online and get a $1,500 gift card

Amazon now lets customers buy, sell and lease cars online through Amazon Autos, which works with local dealerships to streamline the process. Prime members who trade in their old vehicle and purchase or lease a new, used, or certified pre-owned car through Amazon Autos can receive a $1,500 Amazon gift card.

The service, likened to Carvana, lets shoppers browse local inventory, set up financing and payment plans online, schedule test drives, and pick up a chosen vehicle at the selected dealership within a few days. If a dealership allows it, buyers may be able to return a new or used car within 3–7 days.
