Pregnant Alex Cooper breaks silence on rumors of 'marital issues' with Matt Kaplan

Alex Cooper pushed back on claims that she and husband Matt Kaplan are having marriage problems during Wednesday's episode of her Call Her Daddy podcast. Cooper, who is pregnant with their first child together, said the chatter about their relationship has been misplaced.

She pointed to their May 13 red carpet appearance at the 2026 YouTube Upfront, explaining she had been worried people might notice the pregnancy but instead saw commentary about how the pair looked. 'The only rumors that actually came from the carpet were just how miserable my husband and I looked,' she said.

'To see people overanalyzing Matt and me as we were earnestly trying to hide this pregnancy, I was so relieved that they were talking about our dynamic, our supposed marital issues, and no one was talking about a potential bump.' 'It was a win for the Cooper-Kaplans that day,' she added.
