Portable power stations can keep devices running during outages, and they’re handy for camping or going off-grid. In lab testing based in Kentucky, 10 units were evaluated for how much power they provide versus how much they draw to charge, and several flagship models from brands like Jackery and Anker emerged as top picks.

Many of those tested are on sale for as much as 47% off during Amazon Prime Day. The Oupes Mega 1 stood out in the small category (600–1,100 Wh). It charged to 100% in 21 minutes while retaining 1,024 watts per hour and offers a bank of four AC outlets, USB‑C and USB‑A ports (100W and 18W), a 12V car outlet, and two DC5521 ports.

Current price: $429 (22% off); original price: $549. On the larger end, the Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus took 115 minutes to reach a full charge while retaining 2,042.8 watts per hour. It’s a substantial setup designed for long-term power storage. Current price: $1,979 (10% off); original price: $2,199.
