Pokopia leaks hint at Snubbull, Manaphy and possible shinies

The trailer for Pokémon Pokopia's upcoming DLC offered a few teases, and a small piece of retailer artwork posted on Tuesday has fans picking over the details. The image includes elements not shown in the trailer: Snubbull appears likely to join one of the two upcoming content drops, and the art provides a clearer look at the legendary Manaphy.

Several Pokémon in the picture wear accessories such as ties, wings and hats, suggesting the full DLC will expand customization options. The background also shows sparkles; they might be simple decoration or reused happy-Pokémon animations, but some players see them as a hint that alternate colors — shinies — could finally come to Pokopia.

That theory runs up against a known design choice in the game: Pokopia does not duplicate any monster, with every species represented only once. If shinies arrive, they may not be mere color variants but entirely new creatures, or costumes could be used to make existing characters appear shiny.
