Pokémon Unite adds 4 Legendary Pokémon for its 5th anniversary

Pokémon Unite celebrates its fifth anniversary in July by adding four Legendary Pokémon across July and August. Yveltal joins on July 3, Palkia arrives July 17, Reshiram appears on August 7, and Solgaleo is set for August 21. Players will need to take part in the in-game events to obtain each Legendary Pokémon's Unite license.

Season 43 of the game's Battle Pass begins on July 1 and features Regal Style: Pikachu as the headline reward, likely reserved for those who buy the Premium Pass. Each season's Battle Pass includes a themed style Pokémon; past examples include Season 18's Pokébuki Style: Tyranitar and Season 41's Dryad Style: Espeon.

Pokémon Unite is a free-to-play MOBA that matches two teams of five players. By defeating wild Pokémon during a match, players level up and evolve their chosen Pocket Monster to gain an edge in strategic battles. The game launched in July 2021 to a mixed reception.
