Pokémon Legends: Z-A season 13 details and start time
If you want to take part in Pokémon Legends: Z-A's most unhinged season yet, you only have a couple of days to do so. Season 12, which began on Thursday, June 4, lifted nearly all restrictions on eligible Pokémon in ranked battles, allowing any Pokémon in either the Lumiose or the Hyperspace Pokédex to be used.
Season 13 returns to a more restrictive format: all legendary and mythical Pokémon will be banned for the duration. The off-limits Pokémon are Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie, Mewtwo, Heatran, Volcanion, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Hoopa, Marshadow, Meltan, Melmetal, Darkrai, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Magearna and Zeraora.
Although season 12 was more open on paper, Xerneas proved dominant in practice. That fairy-type legendary, together with Pokémon such as Mewtwo, Yveltal, Kyogre and Groudon, was so prevalent that many players decided to stop playing during the season. Season 13 begins at 2 p.m.
