Pluribus star says Season 2 has no filming date as writers start over
Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s Apple TV drama starring Rhea Seehorn, has no set filming date for Season 2, the actor said during an appearance on Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum. The series, which premiered in November 2025 and earned a 7.9/10 on IMDb and a 99% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes, was renewed early but now faces a less certain timeline.
Seehorn described the delay as a creative decision rather than a sign of lost confidence. Gilligan had a rough sense of the story going into the writers’ room, she said, but testing those ideas led the team to start “kicking the tires on all of it” and eventually “wanted to go back to square one.” She framed that careful rebuilding as part of why his shows feel so rewarding and noted he “wishes he could get it back on sooner.” Season 1 required months of post-production before arriving on Apple TV, and without a filming date for Season 2 a quick return now seems unlikely.
