PlayStation State of Play June 2026: Major reveals and dates

Sony Interactive Entertainment opened the summer gaming season on June 2 with a new State of Play showcase that ran for more than 60 minutes and included an extended look at Insomniac Games' Marvel's Wolverine. Several surprises landed during the stream. Saber Interactive unveiled Stuntman: Hollywood, a vehicle-focused revival that brings in franchises such as Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Mad Max.

Sony also announced Until Dawn 2 for PlayStation 5, arriving in 2027, and revealed a new God of War titled Laufey, starring Deborah Ann Woll as Faye. Publishers set a number of release dates and showed new gameplay. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis was delayed to Feb.

12, 2027; Marvel's Wolverine is slated for Sept. 15 and received about 10 minutes of notably bloody footage; Dune: Awakening will reach PS5 on Sept. 22 with a new single-player mode and post-launch fixes; Onimusha: Way of the Sword launches Sept. 25 with a demo available now.
