Play as the law in Red Dead Redemption 2 with the First Response mod
Rockstar’s worlds usually put you on the wrong side of the law, but the Red Dead Redemption First Response mod flips the script and lets you play as a marshal, sheriff, or city copper. Activate it in any sheriff’s office to begin a shift, change uniforms at the wardrobe, and even swap your character model or cycle through randomized lawmen before returning to Arthur Morgan when you clock out.
My first day on duty in Tumbleweed began with a stolen horse that proved impossible to calm, and ended with the horse vanishing when I went off duty. A later fugitive investigation introduced new interrogation options: townsfolk sometimes gave clues, sometimes refused, and once a suspect popped me in the head while I was sneaking around a saloon and I was dead before I knew it.
Recruiting a partner helped, though teamwork didn’t always go smoothly—one arrest attempt ended with my ally shooting the suspect before I could tie her up.
