Pixel Pikachu plush now available — fair warning if you want one

The pixel Pikachu plush that drew strong attention earlier this year is now available from the Pokemon Center. The "Pikachu 1996 Style Plush" was revealed at a Pokemon 30th Anniversary merch event and retails for $29.99 (or £24.99 in the UK).

It recreates Pikachu’s appearance from the original Game Boy games, closely matching how the pocket monster looked when you might have encountered it in Viridian Forest. The plush measures 6.7 x 7.1 x 9.1 inches.

There was a great deal of enthusiasm around the reveal, so it may sell out quickly; consider ordering soon if you want one. Good luck, trainers.
