Phanteks XT View Matrix review
Phanteks' XT View Matrix is a large, bold mid-tower that pairs prominent RGB and a dot‑matrix display with a very affordable price. The Matrix panel lifts the design into something showy and divisive — you'll either love it or find it over the top. Either way, the chassis is easy to build in and pleasant to own.
This isn’t an all‑new case; the XT View launched in 2024, and the Matrix edition adds a configurable dot‑matrix LED strip hidden behind a soft grey mesh panel along the PSU cover. Lighting is controllable from the front I/O or via motherboard RGB headers, and NexLinq software can display date, time, temps and loads.
At £80 in the UK and $120 in the US, the price remains unusually low for what it offers. Assembly is straightforward: fit the motherboard and PSU first, route cables early, then install cooler and GPU. There are plenty of cable tie points and SSD mounts, and the accessory box includes an unexpectedly large number of cable ties.
