As the Persona series turns 30 and with confirmation that Persona 6 exists, Atlus says the franchise has sold over 30 million copies. The announcement came alongside a reveal of Persona 6 — though no gameplay details were shown — after some art seemingly leaked online last week, a leak that the game's official logo has inadvertently strengthened.

For now attention is on Persona 4 Revival, which got a release date of February 18, 2027 and a new trailer confirming it will be a remake of Persona 4 Golden, avoiding Persona 3 Reload's approach of remaking the base game. Atlus also shared artwork of Persona 4 protagonist Yu Narukami to mark the 30th anniversary and the sales milestone, adding on Twitter: "Thank you to everyone who has supported us – we wouldn't be here without you!" Persona 5 accounts for a large portion of those sales.

In 2023 Atlus confirmed the "Persona 5 series"—Persona 5, Royal, Dancing in Starlight, Strikers, and Tactica—had sold over 10 million copies.
