Persona 6 rated M in Australia for nudity and swears

Persona 6 breadcrumbs continue to drop, this time with a Mature age rating courtesy of the Australian government. The Australian Classification Board has given the game an M rating, recommending it for players over 15 due to "coarse language," nudity, and violence.

The reveal trailer showed little, so the classification notes add to a slow trickle of information. Age ratings do not guarantee a release date, but they often indicate publishers are preparing certification. Classification boards need to see content closer to the final game, and publishers rarely submit material early in development that is likely to change substantially.

Previous examples include Splatoon Raiders and Star Wars: Zero Company's age ratings, which were both submitted shortly before their release dates were made official.
