Persona 4 Revival keeps Golden's content and brings Marie back

Persona 4 Revival's first full gameplay trailer arrived during the Xbox Games Showcase, showing that the remake looks polished and that content from Persona 4 Golden is returning. The trailer confirmed a February 18 release date and briefly revealed Velvet Room assistant Marie about 50 seconds in.

Marie was added in Persona 4 Golden along with her Aeon Social Link and plays a major role in the expanded story content that was not present in the original 2008 release. It wasn’t clear until now whether Revival would follow the original or Golden; Persona 3 Reload removed additions such as the female protagonist from Portable and The Answer epilogue from FES (the latter was later released as paid DLC).

Because Golden’s extra content is woven through the main story and could not easily exist as add-on DLC, it’s reassuring to see it included. This looks like it could be the definitive way to experience Persona 4.
