PC Gamers, come rate my videogame vinyl collection
I can't remember exactly when I started collecting videogame and anime soundtrack vinyl, but I do remember the record that finally convinced me to open my wallet: the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice boxset. That four-disc collection has some of the most gorgeous interior art I've ever seen.
Sekiro led me to Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, the Demon's Souls Remake OST and the Elden Ring official vinyl boxset, and then across other genres. I also picked up soundtracks for strategy favourites like Total War: Three Kingdoms and Frostpunk, indies such as The Banner Saga, Outer Wilds, Rain World, Transistor and Hollow Knight, Warhammer 40k releases Mechanicus, Vermintide and Darktide, the Hitman: Contracts OST, and big collections including Baldur's Gate 3, Dishonored and Persona 5.
I enjoy slotting a record in while doing chores; it turns listening into a small ritual and the discs are enjoyable objects to own and display.
