Path of Exile 2 update adds Atlas Passive Tree and makes uniques easier
The latest Path of Exile 2 update introduces an additional skill tree, the Atlas Passive Tree, as part of the Runes of Aldur season. It offers 24 nodes that players can unlock and experiment with, many of which are tailored toward the Expeditions that form the league’s core content.
Node effects vary between simple buffs, mechanical shifts and choice-based rewards. Game director Jonathan Rogers highlighted examples such as opting to increase the number of Expedition Encounters you trigger or to find additional Remnants. A follow-up example in the overview even shows NPC Farrow selling a new currency, illustrating the variety of possible outcomes.
The patch also adds new Orbs of Sacrifice, earned by defeating Atrizi; these trade a randomly chosen modifier from an attached item for a stacked corruption.
