The Path of Exile 2 1.0 release date isn't set precisely, but Grinding Gear Games is aiming to ship the full update before the end of the year. Early access began on December 6, 2024, so the target roughly aligns with that two-year anniversary and would deliver a complete campaign and endgame.

Grinding Gear Games is targeting a 2026 release after ExileCon, which runs November 7-8, so the most likely launch window falls between November 9 and December 31, 2026. Expect fuller details to be announced at ExileCon. The endgame-focused "Return of the Ancients" update, released on May 29, was the final major patch before 1.0.

Assuming there are no delays, players could go roughly six months without new content, though the developers will still support the game with balance updates and tweaks to polish it. The full launch should add a completed campaign including Acts 5 and 6, but the four missing classes—Duelist, Marauder, Shadow and Templar—might not all be ready for 1.0.
