Paralives allows NSFW mods on Steam so long as they follow guidelines

Now that Paralives is finally here, players are asking whether adult mods will appear for the life sim. Paralives Studio addressed the topic in a Reddit Q&A after a fan raised the question of "adult content being modded into the game." The developers were clear about Steam Workshop content: "Regarding adult content on the Steam Workshop," they wrote, "so long as it follows Steam's guidelines on user-uploaded content and is properly tagged as adult content, it is OK!" They also noted they only moderate mods inside the Steam Workshop, so anything hosted elsewhere is outside their jurisdiction.

The piece points out that The Sims 4's WickedWhims remains one of the most popular mods, a Steam Workshop mod called "UncensoredParas" is already available, and NexusMods hosts other adult creations. There are plenty of safe-for-work mods to choose from as well, and the studio promotes fan creativity, so more projects are likely underway.
