The Wonder Woman prequel Paradise Lost appears to have its head writers: listings on the Writers Guild of America site show Kira Snyder and Janet Lin, a development reported via Tech Times. There has been no official confirmation from James Gunn or DC Studios. Gunn first announced the DCU's initial slate more than three years ago under the banner "Chapter One - Gods and Monsters." Several projects, including Superman, Supergirl and Lanterns, moved forward while others stalled; Brave and the Bold and The Authority have struggled, and Paradise Lost was briefly rumored canceled before Gunn said it remained in development.

He described the series as "Game of Thrones" inspired and focused on the Amazons of Themyscira before Wonder Woman's birth, and in April 2026 called the series in "extreme development." He may have spoken with Snyder and Lin about joining during that period.
