She paid $3,500 to watch 'Summer House' from the show's Hamptons home
I spent $3,500 to watch the "Summer House" reunion at the show's Hamptons house. I'm Kerry Feeney, a 44-year-old director of hospital administration from Rockaway, New York, and I've watched Bravo for years — "Summer House" from the beginning — so the place brought me right back to summers after college and made me feel like I was in my 20s again.
I won one of three nights auctioned off by StayMarquis and knew splitting the cost among friends would be easy. We carpooled two hours, talked about the show (pretty much everyone is very anti-Amanda), and when we arrived we toured the house like kids. Kyle and Amanda's bedroom was much bigger than it looks on TV and even had a heated toilet seat, so I picked that room because it had the biggest bed and opened onto the backyard.
We brought chips, baked ziti, wine and Surfsides, and the place was stocked with a cooler full of Loverboy — I think we drank every single one. The house even has a movie-theater room with recliner seats, but the 16 of us watched the reunion in the living room.
