Paget Brewster lashes out at TV critic: 'You suck'

Paget Brewster criticized ScreenRant TV critic Shealynn Scott in a now-deleted X post, even misspelling her name as "Shealyn." Brewster wrote that Scott was "young" and warned that "bad pics and bad reviews can lead to 350 people losing their jobs," adding, "Sell vintage.

Work at a shelter. Do something better than what you do now. Because right now you suck." Scott's piece, headlined "Paramount+’s Criminal Minds Format Change Finally Backfires," pointed to several downgrades in the series, including a reduced episode order. The article argued that shortened seasons are working against the show’s strengths and used an image of Brewster’s character, FBI agent Emily Prentiss, as its main photo.

The post prompted backlash from fans and journalists.
