The long saga of Peaky Blinders will continue in an upcoming Netflix sequel. The original six-season crime drama starred Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, whose story reached a climax in the film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, set during World War II. The new series jumps forward to 1953 and picks up with Tommy’s sons Duke Shelby (Jamie Bell) and Charles Shelby (Charlie Heaton), who "find themselves in a city of unprecedented opportunity and jeopardy." Ned Dennehy and Packy Lee will return as Charlie Strong and Johnny Dogs, respectively, figures who first appeared in season one and have been present through every subsequent season and the film.

They will watch over the new generation of Peaky Blinders that Duke and Charles assemble. The emerging gang will include Eliot (Samuel Bottomley), Angelo (Arturo Muselli), Frank (Eugene Collins), and Kezia Lee (Lucie Shorthouse).
