'Only Murders in the Building' Season 6 Adds 'Doctor Who' Icons to Cast

David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker have joined the cast of Only Murders in the Building Season 6, stepping away from their familiar Time Lord personas for a different kind of outing as the Emmy-winning murder mystery moves from New York City to London for the first time.

Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez return as the central crime‑solving trio. The new season assembles a large British and Irish roster, with Nicola Coughlan, Jim Broadbent, Richard Ayoade, Adrian Lukis and Kathryn Hunter among the newly announced additions, alongside recurring newcomers Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha‑Patel, Rhea Norwood, Matthew Beard, Sharon Horgan, Martin Freeman, Geri Halliwell‑Horner, Jamie Demetriou, Anjana Vasan, Jane Horrocks, Derek Jacobi and Lesley Nicol; Michael Cyril Creighton and Da'Vine Joy Randolph reprise Howard Morris and Detective Donna Williams.
