One new model every faction needs in Warhammer 40K 11th edition

Warhammer 40K 11th Edition has arrived: the Armageddon launch box is out and Space Marine and Ork players have fresh kits to enjoy. Plenty more releases are on the way, and the Big Summer Warhammer Preview on Friday, June 26 will be the first big look at what’s next.

Impatient as ever, the writer picks one new model or unit each faction needs — a list that walks the line between prediction and wish list, and one they’re pretty confident about. If they’re wrong, they owe you a drink. Ian does not owe you a drink. On the Space Marine side the calls are familiar but specific: a modern Land Raider to replace the 26‑year‑old kit that’s tough to build; an Eternal Pyre centerpiece for Black Templars that captures their crusading zeal; a refreshed Baal Predator for Blood Angels as the classic flamethrower tank; Ravenwing Black Knights to round out Dark Angels’ updates; and a reworked Thunderwolf Cavalry for the Space Wolves.
