Some of the largest One Nation supporter groups on Facebook appear to be run from overseas by digital creators who monetise content. An examination of 14 public groups with at least 8,000 members found most were created this year. While a few seem to be longstanding and set up by genuine supporters, many are fed by posts from what associate professor Timothy Graham described as "a foreign-run, predominantly Indonesian, for-hire engagement farm operation." Many administrators and top posters are tagged as "digital creators" and offer subscriptions, suggesting they may earn money through Facebook monetisation programs.

In one group with more than 117,000 members, at least two admins post in Indonesian, share Meta back-end charts showing content popular in Australia and publish clips of Facebook earnings. One creator posted a screenshot in Indonesian indicating Meta would pay US$20 for two posts that reached 50,000 people.
