Oliver Tree documented his first trip to Brazil in his final social media post, an Instagram Reel shared Saturday that teamed him with Brazilian influencer Iae Break for a day of soccer, bike rides, haircuts and cooking. The video was captioned “Gringo 24 horas no Brasil,” translated as “Foreigner 24 hours in Brazil,” and featured his song “Worth Nothing” from the “TWISTED, Fast & Furious: Drift Tape (Phonk Vol.

1).” The clip had 9.7 million views at the time of reporting and drew a flood of condolences. Tree was reported dead Sunday after a helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro. He was 32 years old. Born Oliver Tree Nickel, he was identified as one of six casualties in the two-plane crash: he and four others were aboard one helicopter when it struck another helicopter carrying a single person.

Other victims named include passengers Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim (also known as Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi), Lucas Brito Chaves, and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac.
