Raunchy Prime Video Romance Returns to No. 1, Dethroning Spider‑Noir
Prime Video's new superhero series briefly reached the top of the streaming charts before being displaced by a raunchier favorite. Released on May 27, Spider-Noir earned a 91% critics rating and a 93% viewer score on Rotten Tomatoes. The series stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, a weary private investigator in 1930s New York who returns to a masked vigilante life; it can be watched in black-and-white or color and also features Brendan Gleeson, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li and Karen Rodriguez.
Hitting Prime Video on May 13, Off Campus follows a music student and a charismatic hockey star whose fake dating arrangement becomes real. Starring Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli and based on Elle Kennedy's book series, the R-rated show holds a 93% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 88% Popcornmeter score.
After falling behind Spider-Noir, Off Campus has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on both the U.S. and Global Top 10 charts and was the platform's most popular show for the week of May 25–31.
