Obsession will be available for digital purchase and rental starting Jun. 30. There is no word yet on when it will begin streaming, though it is expected to land on Peacock, and the film remains in theaters for viewers who prefer the big‑screen experience. The horror thriller opened May 15 with $17 million and, unusually, increased its box office in the weeks that followed, staying in the top five for six consecutive weeks.

Focus Features had originally set a June digital date but pulled it after the film's strong theatrical run. Made for $1 million, Obsession became a word‑of‑mouth hit, earning a 94% Rotten Tomatoes score and an A‑ CinemaScore. It has now grossed $217.3 million domestically and $334.4 million worldwide, outgrossing big‑budget franchise titles like Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Masters of the Universe, and Mortal Kombat.
