The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered keeps the same eight core attributes but rearranges some bonuses and streamlines leveling. Instead of earning attribute points based on which skills you raise, the remaster grants a flat 12 points to spend at every level, removing the old need for detailed skill management.

Strength now affects maximum health, carry capacity and melee damage, but excludes shortswords and daggers; it also replaced its old link to fatigue. Intelligence still controls maximum magicka, and Willpower continues to govern magicka regeneration and maximum fatigue.

Agility received several notable changes: it impacts maximum fatigue, fatigue regeneration, ranged attack damage, small-blade damage (daggers and shortswords) and the chance to avoid being staggered. Speed remains largely the same, influencing movement speed and jump distance.
