North West, 12, makes first solo music festival appearance

North West rocked the crowd at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026 in her first solo music festival performance. Videos shared on Instagram and reshared by her parents showed the 12-year-old performing as the crowd sang along. She wore a long blue wig styled half-up with two ponytails, a black Balenciaga top and matching skirt, black sneaker boots and oversized black shades.

Kanye West reposted a clip of North singing their 2024 song "TALKING," which appears on his album "Vultures 1." Kim Kardashian’s stylist, Dani Levi, posted additional footage, including backstage photos and a shot of two passes printed with North’s face and name.

Other family members who showed support on social media included Rob Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Kardashian has defended her daughter’s creative expression before, pushing back against critics of North’s edgy looks — which have included finger piercings and blackened grills.
