Noah Darvich set for loan to SV Elversberg as bigger suitors miss out
Noah Darvich is set to leave VfB Stuttgart on a temporary deal and is poised to join newly promoted SV Elversberg, a move that leaves higher-profile suitors disappointed. Werder Bremen, SC Freiburg, VfL Wolfsburg and Hertha BSC had all been linked with the 19-year-old, who is yet to make a competitive appearance for Stuttgart's Bundesliga side.
Elversberg's top-flight status and lower-pressure environment make the Saarland club an attractive destination compared with the newly relegated Wolfsburg and Hertha, and at SVE Darvich could continue to develop "in a calm environment," kicker says. The club has become a recognised springboard for young players who needed game time at a higher level.
Darvich drew attention with strong performances for Stuttgart's reserve side in the 3. Liga last season, scoring ten goals and providing six assists.
