Nintendo Direct on June 30 will focus on Splatoon Raiders
Nintendo announced Monday that a new Nintendo Direct will stream on June 30 and be dedicated to its upcoming Splatoon spinoff. The showcase, focused on the single-player survival adventure Splatoon Raiders, starts at 7 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. EDT and will run roughly 15 minutes.
The company said the presentation will offer a deep dive into the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, with new gameplay details and plenty of sea-life wordplay. Nintendo is also planning an extended look at Splatoon Raiders gameplay with a Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast.
Splatoon Raiders was revealed last June, shortly after the Switch 2 launched. In the follow-up to Splatoon 3, players will hunt for treasure across the Spirhalite Islands while battling Salmonids from Salmon Run, taking on the role of a mechanic working for the Deep Cut trio—Frye, Shiver, and Big Man—building wild creations, gadgets, and paint-throwing devices.
