Nintendo Direct Confirmed for Tomorrow
Nintendo has confirmed a Direct for tomorrow via the Nintendo Today app. It will take place Tuesday, June 9, at 7am PT/10am ET and run 50 minutes, followed by a 95-minute Nintendo Treehouse segment. It will be live when the time comes. Expectations are vague. Rumors point to a The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake still to be announced this year, and a release date for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is still missing.
There are likely a few surprises left in Nintendo’s bag of tricks, most of them probably for Switch 2, and fans are still asking when a new 3D Mario game will arrive. Some trailers may rehash or expand on what appeared at Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Showcase.
Nintendo already has Splatoon Raiders, Rhythm Heaven Groove, and Star Fox on the docket, so we may see new footage for some or all of those games. The writer said they were personally hoping for a Deltarune Chapter 5 release date and Pokopia DLC.
