Nintendo Direct 2026: Every Switch 2 game reveal, trailers, and announcement
Nintendo's 2026 Direct delivered more than two dozen announcements, spanning ports, updates, and new titles. Highlights included ports of Metaphor Re:Fantazio and Dragon's Dogma, an update for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, an appearance from Kingdom Hearts 4, and a new turn-based Final Fantasy due later this year.
The showcase set release dates for several Switch and Switch 2 games: Rhythm Heaven Groove launches July 2 on both consoles; Capcom's Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives on Switch 2 September 25; Dragon's Dogma 2 comes to Switch 2 on October 9 with a built-in expansion; and Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave debuts September 17.
Other slated launches include The Orbitals on September 3, Big Walk on August 1, and One Piece: Grand Gourmet on October 23. A parade of ports and new projects followed. Devil May Cry: Devil Hunter Edition for Switch 2 is due June 23, Lies of P lands digitally on August 6 and physically on October 2, and Stellar Blade and Lords of the Fallen 2 were confirmed for Switch 2 with no firm dates.
