Nightdive prioritised fan mission compatibility for Thief Remastered
Thief: The Dark Project has long had one of the most accomplished mapping communities, with creators delivering maps, missions and entire campaigns that often eclipse the base game. Nightdive says a remaster worth its salt must support that scene, and it plans to make fan missions a priority for Thief: The Dark Project Remastered.
Speaking on Nightdive's Deep Dive podcast, producer Daniel Grayshon said community creations have not gone unnoticed and that compatibility with them is "extremely important." He added the team is working to make it easy for PC players to get set up with whatever fan mission they want to play, while acknowledging there is a lot of content and limited testing time.
Nightdive confirmed one high-profile campaign will be playable from the start: The Black Parade, a 10-mission campaign released in 2023 and overseen by Arkane Lyon level designer Romain Barrilliot.
