Nicolas Cage will appear as a playable character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, joining the game’s Season 4 Reloaded starting Jun. 25. The high-octane teaser casts him as a one-man army who barges in and takes down an elite soldier. Cage’s videogame résumé is slim—his only prior credit was a voice role in Dead by Daylight.

He joins a long line of celebrities who have appeared in the Call of Duty franchise, including Idris Elba, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Goldblum, Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton, and performers who played themselves such as Snoop Dogg and David Hasselhoff. Call of Duty has released 22 games to date, and while Black Ops 7 has drawn mixed reviews, some players may warm to the installment now that Cage is part of the roster.

The reveal sparked a wave of social media reaction, with memes and movie puns circulating widely. One user even joked the in-game character was John Travolta, a nod to Face/Off.
