Nicolas Cage joins Black Ops 7 in Season 4 update

Activision has claimed that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 won't have "clowny" skins, but that restriction does not apply to Black Ops 7. A mid-season update for Season 4 adds Dracula, Superman, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, a terrifying serial killer — and Nicolas Cage.

The actor-themed content arrives on Thursday, June 25, as part of the game's event pass. Cage’s on-screen roles mirror many of the new skins: he played Dracula in Renfield, Superman in Teen Titans Go! To The Movies and in The Flash, Spider-Man Noir in the namesake Prime Video show, Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider, and a serial killer in Longlegs.

The base skin, available on the premium track, shows Cage dressed in all black with a bulletproof vest and short hair. Completing the event pass unlocks an unlimited variant with long hair and a crimson snakeskin jacket. Black Ops 7 already includes other celebrity faces: Terry Crews was a skin in Season 3, and Lucy, Maximus and The Ghoul from Amazon's Fallout TV show appeared in Season 1.
