Newegg offers near-MSRP deals on AMD RX 9070 during Prime Day

Having tracked GPU prices weekly since August last year, the expectation was that base prices had largely plateaued, so a few genuine Prime Day drops felt possible—and Newegg has delivered on that. Newegg lists the AMD Radeon RX 9070 at $570 after a membership promo code that takes $30 off the $600 tag.

You don’t need a paid subscription to access the code—providing a name and email unlocks the discount—leaving the card just $20 above its $550 launch MSRP from March last year. The RX 9070 sits a little short of the RX 9070 XT and well placed against Nvidia options: the RTX 5070 Ti remains notably expensive, while the RTX 5070 can be had for $550 with a Newegg promo code.

An RX 9070 GRE at $500 further narrows the gap and leaves the RTX 5070 sandwiched between two strong AMD offerings. I’d pick the RX 9070 myself.
