Sebastian Sagar, who works in finance, is selling a $6.25 million luxury apartment in Tribeca and says he will consider accepting Anthropic shares as part of a sale. He passed on an early chance to buy pre-IPO Anthropic stock and now regrets missing that investment, so he is looking for another way to gain exposure to the company.

Sagar moved his life to Florida, is getting married and plans to start a family, so he no longer uses the New York home. He bought the apartment for about $7 million at the end of 2024, listed it in June 2025, and has since lowered the asking price, changed brokers, and kept the $6.25 million figure while exploring creative deal structures.

He says he is overweight in real estate and wants to shift some capital into AI. The northwest Tribeca apartment at 415 Washington St includes a 20-foot-tall tree in the living room, an exterior patio that overlooks the neighborhood, and a kitchen with dark marble countertops and large windows.
