New Spider-Man trailer shows Peter losing control as invisible villain wreaks havoc
A new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens with Peter Parker crashing a university lecture taught by Bruce Banner, who warns that nature can’t be neatly controlled. The sequence cuts to Tramell Tillman’s character warning of a new threat the city can’t manage — one “you can’t even see” — and to a yellow-hooded figure that may or may not be Sadie Sink.
That mysterious force appears able to control people and their powers, though Spider-Man seems immune. Brand New Day marks Tom Holland’s first outing as Peter Parker since 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, when Doctor Strange erased him from everyone’s memory. The trailer reflects that reset: Ned has a board tracking Spidey’s identity, MJ has a new boyfriend, and Peter clashes with Frank while taking on the Hand, the red-clad ninjas last seen in Netflix’s Defenders saga.
