New Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer keeps Sadie Sink mystery alive
A new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrived Wednesday, offering another look at Tom Holland's Peter Parker and deepening the mystery around Sadie Sink's character. It highlights Peter's personal struggles as his powers change — organic webshooters and all-black eye lenses among them — and shows him seeking help from Bruce Banner, who now wears a device meant to suppress the Hulk.
Later footage suggests the Hulk may be mind-controlled, possibly by the film's alleged antagonist, rumored to be played by Sink. Aunt May also appears to have new dialogue, implying Marisa Tomei may return in a voiceover role. The trailer also cuts to action: a "totally out of control" Spider-Man fighting Scorpion, Ned Leeds desperate to uncover the wallcrawler's identity, and a fierce clash with The Hand that showcases new web-based moves.
The first trailer presented a depressed, low-profile Peter, cut off from Ned and MJ in the aftermath of No Way Home, and this follow-up continues to explore him as an ordinary person facing superpowered problems.
