Netflix Scores with 90-Minute Pierce Brosnan Thriller Fast Charlie

Netflix has added Fast Charlie, a 90-minute action thriller starring Pierce Brosnan as Charlie Swift, a former fixer and hitman who discovers a target missing his head. He enlists Marcie Kramer (Morena Baccarin) to help avenge his friend and mentor Stan Mullen (James Caan) while taking on a rival gang.

Directed by Phillip Noyce and written by Richard Wenk, the film premiered in select theaters and on video on demand in 2023. In a tight runtime it blends revenge-driven action with a comic crime caper, anchored by Brosnan’s performance. Critics called it “a slickly watchable thriller that engages despite its standard story,” and audiences said, “Packed with action, laughs, and a few surprises, Fast Charlie really satisfies.” The movie now sits at #2 in the Netflix U.S.
