Netflix confirms season 3 of The Four Seasons

Netflix has renewed The Four Seasons for a third season. The streamer revived the premise of a 1981 movie about couples who vacation together each season, assembling a cast that includes Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Will Forte, and Colman Domingo. Season 2 only premiered weeks ago, and there is no production start or release date yet for the next batch of episodes.

Creators Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield said in a statement, "We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of The Four Seasons to life. Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!" Although the series features top-tier comedians, it balances comedy with trauma and heartfelt emotion: Season 1 ended with Steve Carell’s character Nick dying, which shaped how Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and the group coped in Season 2.

Tracey Pakosta, vice president of US comedy series at Netflix, added, "It’s been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends.
