Netflix Announces Hot Ones: Extra Heat Premiere on July 13

Netflix has ordered a spin-off of the popular interview series, Hot Ones, titled Hot Ones: Extra Heat. The show will premiere exclusively on Netflix on July 13, with Sean Evans returning as host and executive producer alongside Chris Schonberger, Sarah Honda, Aaron Cooke and showrunner K.P.

Anderson; the first episode will air after the 8 p.m. ET live stream of the T-Mobile Home Run Derby. Extra Heat will not be live, but it moves the series out of Evans’ usual studio and onto location for cultural moments tied to Netflix, including sporting events and film and series premieres.

The signature ten-wing challenge and in-depth interviews remain, while the episodes will be punctuated by special segments linked to each event and occasional surprise appearances.
