Netflix Adds Resident Alien Season 4 After Series End

Nearly a year after its four-season run on Syfy concluded, Netflix added Resident Alien Season 4 to its library on June 6. The series, which debuted in 2021, is based on the comic by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse and stars Alan Tudyk, with Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds and Alice Wetterlund among the supporting cast.

Tudyk plays an extraterrestrial sent to Earth to destroy humanity who crash-lands in Colorado, kills a local doctor and assumes his identity. Living among people, he grows increasingly empathetic, forms unexpected friendships and becomes entangled in human problems he never expected to care about.

Resident Alien began on Syfy on Jan. 27, 2021 and later aired on USA Network. The show averaged 2.9 million total viewers per episode in its first season and opened Season 2 with 3.2 million total viewers (live and streaming), but live cable numbers later settled around 500K–750K per episode.
